Resource and Environment Development Organisation

In recent years, the depletion of natural resources and attempts to move to sustainable development have been a major focus of development agencies. This is of particular concern in rainforest regions, which hold most of the Earth's natural biodiversity. Conservation of natural resources is the major focus of environmentalists, ecology minded organisations and governments.

Resource and Environment Development Organisation (REDO) is an organisation committed to inspiring people to achieve a healthy environment. For 12 years we have been a strong voice for the environment, promoting solutions through research, consultation, education and partnerships. We work with the community, business and government to protect, restore and sustain our environment. Our other area of interest is in human resource development.

REDO actively participates in several national and international workshops. Recent workshops include events organized by the Guinea Current Large Marine Ecosystem Project of UNIDO/UNEP, the Ministry of Environment & Science of Ghana, IOC/UNESCO ODINAFRICA Project. REDO has also supported postgraduate studies on sea turtles and mangroves at the University of Ghana.
